Bucknell's Matt Gilray was drafted last night by the Buffalo Bandits. We're talking about indoor (nee box) lacrosse. If you haven't seen a game, it's a hoot. Lots of scoring, 30 second shot clock, lot of hits.
No one's getting rich at it, but he should be at home there, especially since almost all of the Bandit players are Canadian and he's from Oshawa (practices are held in Ontario). The Buffalo team is always first or second in attendance (last season's average attendance was 15,148). Not so much for their standings lately, alas, they're usually competitive.
