Looking at the top 4 teams in both groups, strong defense seems to be the common thread.
For Brown, the men and women have much better offense than defense. Last year, the Brown women were 12-1 in non-conference but lost one of its leading scorers to a knee injury just before the start of the conference. They ended up going 3-11 in the conference.
For Brown to make a run at both 4 spots and break up the HYPP grouping, at a minimum, they must have their starters stay healthy.
