Why do we have to write to Pilling? "Our issues" are his issues and surely he knows what they are. I cannot imagine what I can tell him that he does not already know. Indeed, I feel that there is something going on here with Engles' situation that is not public knowledge. Maybe it is a financial issue. Maybe Pilling has a problem terminating someone he hired. Maybe Bollinger is involved somehow. Otherwise, I cannot see any reasonable factual explanation for retaining Engles after the next few weeks.
