Bella is now averaging 29 pts per game with 13 rebounds in IL play. Her scoring average is 11 pts higher than 2nd place and 3 rebounders higher per game. She is #2 in blocked shots and top 10 in assists, steals, FG avg (#2) and FT% (#5). She is simply a dominant player but unfortunately her teammates have yet to step up in IL play. Other team announcers are basically stunned as to the quality of her play on road games.
Because she missed the first 9 games, her stats will not meet the minimum NCAA game played standards. If she had enough games, she would be top ten in the nation in a number of categories.
If she stays healthy and gets some support, the Tiger women will be a force. She plays tonight against a reasonably good Columbia team that yielded 45 pts to her (IL women's record) at Columbia.
