One thing that is strange is an incongruity with the Legends Classic. That tournament format is always four games, where the mid-majors play at two strong opponents and then play two more games vs other mid-majors at one site. . . . . So one guess is that for some reason Colgate couldn't find a date that worked with the power team they were supposed to visit, and the tournament substituted another team as a one-game member of the tournament to get Colgate four games. Maybe Cortland?
