Stone doesn’t get another year. He played three full seasons at Cornell.

For some of the grad transfers, I think they are happy to go to a big time program and be a role player. Possible Gettings played a couple of years as a big fish in a small pond, and wanted to go somewhere where he could experience big time college basketball with bigger crowds, etc. For guys who choose true high majors, that may be the thinking. The Columbia bigs who transferred to Michigan and Columbia may have made that type of calculation too.

Boudreaux has been pretty public about his recruitment, etc., so you do get the sense he was expecting to have a bigger impact. But who knows.
