Now being widely reported that there will be no varsity sports in the fall semester in the Ivy League. The league will reportedly not entertain any sports prior to January 1, with winter sports getting more information on their practice schedules in the coming weeks. This would mean no non-conference play in basketball.
Some lack of clarity among the reporting as to whether fall sports are postponed or canceled. Some reports saying canceled, others say postponed with a move to the spring TBD. No official announcement from the league yet, although the league and ADs are reportedly on a Zoom call now, so I assume an official statement will be out by the end of the day
