I wasn't surprised only because it's a bit awkward to have but one senior not named a captain. It's completely speculation on my part, but had Morrison stayed, would there have been only two captains named? I doubt if they would have picked three and left one out, but I also doubt they would have picked all four.
I think the threesome will do a great job as captains.
