What else can we say that hasn't been said already. Our men's basketball team is one of he lowest ranked basketball teams in the United States. It is coached by a person who is one of the worst basketball coaches in Columbia history. His record at Columbia is something like 45 wins and 100+ losses including just 18 or so Ivy League wins. He is an awful game coach and recruiter. The coach took over a winning program about seven years ago and turned into a loser almost immediately. We now appear to be on the path to still another horrible season which the coach will undoubtedly blame on the players. Then the cycle will be repeated. Common sense dictates a coaching change immediately and replacing the current head coach with an "interim head coach," from the current coaching staff to give that person an opportunity to make an impact on the team's performance in the final weeks of the season and also to demonstrate his overall capabilities for making the Columbia Men's Basketball Program successful.
