His development as a shooter will be critical. There are an enormous number of players who can pass and defend that are not on NBA rosters. You have to be able to shoot in addition to those things if you want a real shot to be on an NBA roster. Not as a primary scorer, but NBA players have to make shots when left open, even if they are on the floor for other reasons.
