Gayle is for sure going to win Ivy rookie of the year, but many of her weekly ROY wins have come when the team has lost. And this seems likes a pattern with the WBB team - a high priority on individuals getting accolades while the team is so-so/mediocre. For me this is 100% on the coaching.
Yale and Brown do not have the talent to beat Penn but they played harder and with more spirit. Penn's games are punctuated by stretches of jogging up and down the floor, complaining to the refs, letting their shoulders slump, and balky offense. Compare that to Princeton and Columbia squads that play hard as hell every game...
