Just embarrassingly abhorrent execution down the stretch. Cornell gave Yale umpteen chances to win that thing, and the Bulldogs clanged and turnovered them away.
I remain confident that Yale can beat the two others of the top 3 on a neutral court if they play well. But the "if they play well" part seems more and more and more like an assumption we can't make. Two clunkers from two of Yale's top players two games in a row is just unacceptable. But better now than in March, I suppose. The Bulldogs have got to figure some stuff out between now and then, and maybe they ought to practice a free throw or two.
