Earlier today, Matt Morgan declared for the NBA Draft. He did not sign with an agent, so he maintains his last two years of eligibility.
According to an interview he game to the Cornell Daily Sun this afternoon, Morgan expects to return to Cornell if by the May 24 withdrawal deadline he does not see himself being selected in the draft or signing as a free agent.

Morgan's local paper has an article about his career and declaration for the NBA Draft.

Some highlights -
- Morgan will be in Chicago for the NBA Draft Combine. He has been contacted by Golden State, Minnesota, and Washington.
- Morgan received only a handful of offers, mostly from mid-major programs. He chose Cornell, largely because of the school's education.
- After Bill Courney was fired, N.C. State and Providence reached out to Morgan’s family about having him transfer. His involvement in the interview process for the new coach, as well as the selection of Brian Earl as the new coach, helped convince Morgan to stay with the Big Red.
- Morgan has put his name out there to get some evaluations and work on those parts of his game for a future pro career.

To be clear, Morgan may be in Chicago during the combine, but he was not invited to participate according to the attendee list. There are only 67 players at the combine.
