I'm no expert, but it appears that he's exhausted his eligibility?

Or does everyone get a freebie from last season?

Everyone gets a freebie from last season. And the Ivies are allowing grad students to play next year....

on the other hand, this article on the waiver says it applies only to students currently in that Ivy school

I mean, technically, since the league didn't play last year, he's was on the roster the last year they played...

It could well be inaccurately described in the Spectator, but as I read it, it would only pertain to students enrolled at the schools this past school year...and frankly that makes sense. I cannot see the Ivies making an exception for grad transfers into the schools. This was an exception for the Ivy players who lost a year.

I believe Barry has enrolled in the MALS graduate program at Dartmouth. I think Aryn Rai is also contemplating doing the same.

In the most recent Dartmouth Alumni Magazine, several students described their COVID school year experiences. Barry was one of them.

He said that he does not know of his future basketball plans, other than he wants to continue playing competitively in some form.

Dartmouth Athletics snuck a tweet confirming that Barry will be back this season - https://twitter.com/dartmouthsports/statu s/1410984... Maybe this has already been discussed on this forum, but I’ve seen tweets confirming that Rai is coming back as well, so I think Dartmouth should be very much in the mix for an Ivy tourney spot.
