My boards are syncing. I also read an NFL board that is discussing the draft. Mention was made of Michigan State TE Brian Linthicum. I think I remember something being said about this at some point, but I am sure 137 or someone will know. Is this Josh's brother?

Yes. And they followed the same route, first playing in their native New Mexico and then going to private school in Virginia. Brian was supposedly a pretty good hoops player but better in football. He started out at Clemson, where he started games as a freshman, before transferring to Michigan State.

To complete this story, Linthicum did not get drafted. However he signed a contract with the Jets shortly after the draft. Given their shortage of blocking TE's, Linthicum may have a shot of making the team, at least on the practice squad.
