In terms of the President's Cup, it must hurt Navy and Army that their football teams do not compete in the PL.
Shall we DANCE?

fall lead over Navy is 12.25 points this year vs. 5.50 last year, so definitely a good start.

Also a much bigger lead over Boston U.

The good news is that the Bison now have a 7.75 point lead. The bad news is that Navy outscored Bucknell by 10.5 points last spring, so a few teams need to do better this spring. Or hope a couple Navy teams do worse.

The Bison don't figure to do any better than last year in men's lax, as they are struggling while Navy is a contender. Women's lax was surprisingly good last year. Will be tough to do better this year. T&F is likely to go about the same as last year for both the Bison and Navy. The women will likely win it again, but that just keeps BU even. In baseball, Navy looks like the favorite - but they won both the regular season and the tournament last year, so they can't gain any points compared to 2016. The Bison look like they have a chance to improve on last year's 4th place finish and thus pick up a little bit. In softball, BU has a legitimate chance to improve on last year's 4th place finish, and could challenge for 1st.

So it is possible the Bison could increase the lead by a couple more points in the above sports. That would leave it up to golf, tennis, and rowing to determine the Cup winner. Navy will do better in tennis, both men's and women's - but possibly by no more than last year. Golf is close, and BU might have a shot in rowing, which Navy won last year. Looks like it will be a close race.
