Was just told that Leede is closed this summer for renovations.
Anyone know what improvements they are doing? Certainly hope that a video scoreboard is part of the plans...

Hanover is scheduled to host the Ivy Tournament in 2027, have to believe improvements are somewhat inspired by that. Also very curious what they end up doing.

I cannot wait for the Yurt Community to rise up in the March mud outside of Leede to handle the expected throngs of Ivy basketball fans making the trip!

I fully expect a two-day Noreaster to blow in and create a tournament that only 10 locals can trudge their way through the blizzard to.

I'm told it's actually two video boards. One four-sided scoreboard with video capability suspended at center court and another on the far wall just to the left of the visitors' bench. Work is supposed to begin imminently and be completed by early August.

Great to hear!!
Could be wrong, but I believe that the only other Ivy not to have a video board is Brown?

It would be nice for a host school (other than HYPP) to participate. Good Luck!

Well this is funny since as of this year there is no 'visitors' bench since the Dartmouth men and women sit on different sides of the scorers table. Why? Who knows.

This is the worst case scenario I anticipate as a very real possibility.
Even with AWD and excellent winter tires, I am not going to risk it.

If it makes you feel better, several events for last year's Winter Carnival at Dartmouth were canceled due to warm weather.

If weather prevents a team from arriving in time to participate, I love it if the league would provide that the host team fills that spot.
