Owings' foot injury is a stress fracture.
Sargeant starting.

Greenman 11, Savage 5, Wallace 4, Stephens 4, Schafer 3.
Venable no points (1 shot?), but at least 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Sargeant missed two free throws and a lay-up, but played well otherwise.

Jon Solomon interview at halftime. Princeton-Holy Cross starting at six to open for the BC-Holy Cross women's game "is like Spinal Tap opening for the puppet show."

Any word on how long Owings will be out? Unless Logan comes back soon this leaves the Tigers very thin at forward. I'm not thrilled with the idea of starting two freshmen (Savage & Sargeant). It also leaves us a little undersized.

No word. I would think they will play it safe in the non-league schedule to make sure it heals, so I would not expect Owings against Rutgers or Monmouth. But I have no idea how serious the injury is.

I worry w/Owings out, Princeton's propensity to foul much more than their opponents becomes a bigger problem. The foul differential w/Holy Cross seemed pretty large tonight (quite a few of them questionable, judging by the radio broadcast). Maybe things will change w/some home games...
