Princeton and Harvard get shout-outs -- woo.

Down to 10. Well, this is make or break time.

Yes, they were due to go cold, but Kentucky has also changed their heart rate with the constant pressure. Cornell controlled tempo in its first two games, not here. It changes even the shots that look open.

This is unbelievable. Kentucky has scored all of six points, is shooting airballs, and Cornell can't even grab a rebound, and yet they can still cut it to single digits.

Damn it! That Wittman shot was 60% down.

I can only imagine that "pep talk" Calipari just gave his guys.

Down six, they forced a miss, but committed a ridiculously stupid foul on the rebound. Totally unnecessary. UK is trying to gift wrap this for them and Cornell is refusing to accept it.

Xavier forces OT against KSU. Man, I wish Gus Johnson was doing this game instead. Just hearing a few seconds of him makes me smile.

CBS was going to give us the end of UK-Cornell but Xavier-KState just went to OT.

What a dumbass play by Foote, and he gets away with it.

You could see Jeff Foote immediately extend his hand to Cousins after that takedown -- his emotions just got away from him for a sec and he immediately felt bad. Maybe that gesture staved off the intentional.

Why should the gesture stave off the obvious?

19 points in 18 second half minutes for Kentucky, and it's barely made a difference.

BTW, Xavier's Jordan Crawford just hit a game tying 3 from Sorrentine Range to force Double OT!! And with Gus Johnson on the call, to boot.

That was one of the most impressive defensive performances I have ever seen.

Bigger and quicker is better. I agree that it was KU defense, not cold shooting by Cornell.

CBS kept me up past mid-night watching a game I didn't want to watch!
