Defense, versatility, and offers from Princeton and Northwestern? Considering Yale's stacked frontcourt, it sounds like it was almost more valuable to keep Cotton away from Princeton as it was to bring him to Yale, ha.

The problem for Yale lately (and for the next year or two, IMO) has been their backcourt, which has always lagged behind the other top Ivy teams. That said, Javier Duren, their combo guard recruit, sounds like he could start turning that around.

George Costanza suffered from shrinkage, as well.

In my fantasy, after his Yale career, Armani Cotton goes to play pro ball in Europe, and joins Mason Rocca in Italy. Imagine Armani Cotton playing for Armani Jeans in Milan.

Every time he makes a pretty bucket, Yale announcers will have an easy go-to line:

"The touch...the feel...of Cotton!"
