Thank you Dan Mavraides! That step back 3 was clutch as was the leaning bank from the hip at the end!

Oh, and thank you Yale!

Great comeback -- looked like Brown, Pt. 2 but then Mavraides took over the game to win it. He really showed something us special tonight. Dan started out awful, but reached down and refused to let Princeton lose. A huge steal off a missed layup, and an insane circus shot to seal it at the end.

The unorthodox senior night starting lineup probably contributed to the slow start, but give credit to Columbia, they were playing without Cisco and Agho hit some NBA-like jumpers at the end of the shot clock against perfect defense.

Two nail-biters tonight. Princeton escapes; Harvard doesn't.

Before someone starts counting unhatched chickens, even lowly Dartmouth could sneak up on us if we look past them to Harvard.

Then there is Penn. At Penn. 'Nuff said.

There are some landmines we need to dodge merely to get a tie.

Long ways to go yet.

And hey, did I call it or what?

I would agree. Morgan and Braswell have been cold from the arc for several games now, which can't last much longer, and they played the Crimson tough at Lavietes.

Our relative lack of athleticism and depth in the backcourt left us more vulnerable to Brown than Harvard, but Harvard's youth and relatively thin frontcourt is more vulnerable to Yale than we were. With its solid balance and experience, Yale is a bit like Princeton-lite...I definitely expect a close game.

Morgan and Braswell: 6-10 from deep tonight
Keith Wright: 3-12 FG; only bench forward that played was Georgatos (2p/1r)

Being the sentimental type, I always like to attend senior night. It was scary when we were down 40-46 with about 8 minutes left, but what a truly thrilling, leap out of your seat ending! Undefeated at home!! And honestly, it was worth the price of admission to see and hear the reactions when the Harvard-Yale score was announced.

We fans leapt out of our seats again, and the players went nuts. They were still on the floor(autographs tonight). It was such a great, hard fought win and the Harvard score felt like a great pay-off for all that work.

Holy moly -- Mav had all 14 of his points in a six minute span. Talk about a "senior moment."

He's very tough. I think he was 0-7 before that, but he's fearless.

And while we're at it, win the final game at home vs a Princeton team we took to OT on the road.
