Truly idiotic foul by Hummer on Rivard to end the half.

Good half by both teams. Great to see Barrett being an ace-in-the-hole. Phenomenal shooting by Mavraides.

In the second half?

1) We to take care of the ball -- some silly, unforced TOs.

2) Refs need to stop giving Harvard a late whistle whenever they miss a shot in the paint.

As they say, down by 1 is a great position to be in at halftime.

Let's hope we can solve this fouling issue and get the offense under control a bit in the second half.

It's a funny bit of karma -- last time out, Rivard fouled Davis on a 3 with one second left in the first half.

Very happy with the results. Harvard is super-amped up and our backcourt has been awfully cold from the arc of late. All I wanted was to be within a couple baskets at the half and here we are.

The amazing thing about the foul was that he quite obviously made a conscious decision to reach out and slap down on him, instead of just running out and by him to distract the shot without fouling.

Davis took some really bad shots - he was the one responsible for most of the perimeter misses.

I can actually understand Hummer fouling, there. I'd rather have Rivard sink 3 FTs than hit a crowd-exploding 3 to end the half. And yes, I'm 90% sure that shot was going down otherwise.

Davis is a shoot-first guard and Harvard's length is preventing him from getting good shots. Bray or Hazel needs to play more in the 2nd half -- that way, we at least get some D.

Mavraides got a little wild there with drives and passes out of bounds but how can you complain? 18 points!

The Princeton women knocked off Harvard 68-59 to win the Ivy championship outright. Good precedent to follow.

No matter who wins, this has been a really exciting game so far...maybe it'll convince ESPN(3) to televise more Ivy matches in the future.

Well the least they could do is get the spelling right on our Commander in Chief's first name.

Embarrassing.
