Hi everyone. Lets hope for a injury free game.

Here is UK's starting line up.

Brandon Knight: 6-4 super freshmen- leads the team with 17.5 ppg and 4.2 dimes. Can really shoot the ball ever where on the floor.

Doron Lamb: 6-5 His defense has really improved-leads the SEC in 3pt%. Great shooter with great size.

DeAndre Liggins: 6-6 Don't score much, but can. Best defender for and UK and in the SEC. Liggins is an monster defender.

Darius Miller: 6-8 Miller has finally started to live up to his top 30 ranking. 2nd in the SEC in 3pt%. Hard match up, can score inside or out.

Terrence Jones: 6-9 Jones has all the tools to be a NBA super star. The lefty is a night mare match up for anyone. Leads the SEC in rebounding and second in scoring with 16.5 ppg and 8.9 rpg.

Josh Harrellson: 6-10 nothing special about Josh who would have a hard time jumping over a phone book lol. But, Josh gives 100% each game and is a excellent rebounder, as he knows how to position himself.

UK only plays these 6 guys most of the time. Playing their best ball of the season and ripping through the SEC T. UK got screwed and should have been at least a 3 seed.

Looks like our best bet is to avoid turnovers and try to get some of these guys in foul trouble.

What you've probably already read in the better, more detailed previews (e.g. "Not a traditional" Princeton team...") is a good primer. I'll add one important detail:

An ace-in-the hole we often use is to have our best and most athletic player, Kareem Maddox (6-8, 230), D-up the opponent's most dangerous offensive player -- even/especially if they're a guard. Don't be surprised if Maddox spends a lot of the game on Brandon Knight -- not only to limit his scoring, but put a wrench in UK's offense.

Of course, if Terrence Jones is hot (or Knight is shooting cold), Maddox will likely be on Jones instead.

One more thing xps, the Tigers are a very streaky team from behind the arc. When the 3s go down, they have a really nice inside-outside game. They can shoot 60% from deep but can also shoot 20%. If it's the latter, your guys should have little trouble. If we shoot well, it could be very interesting. Princeton is bigger and more athletic than you may think and can put 4 guys on floor between 6'7" and 6'11". Maddox and Hummer can really bang it and play off one another nicely on both sides of the ball.

See you in Tampa.

Our basic offense is ideally supposed to work something like 1) get the ball to Maddox or Hummer in a good position, 2) see if they can make an interior play (usually posting, but quite often driving as well) for 2 or FTs, and 3) if not, kick out to an open Davis, Mavraides, or Saunders for perimeter 2s and 3s.

Somewhat unfortunately, this rarely makes it to step 3. Our scoring has been pretty one-dimensional since Ivy play began. Hopefully we see some more (successful) attempts from a distance and maybe even some backdoor cuts!
