Thank you for an amazing year and an amazing tourney game that was not only close, but thrilling to watch. You made the Ivies proud against a team that should have been a 2-seed or 3 at worst. I have little doubt you guys would have beaten any other 4...and maybe even a 2nd round game from the looks of it.

Special thanks to Kareem, Dan, and Bobby for sticking through the miserable rebuilding years. Harvard will be the clear favorites next year, but the program is back on track.

True. But I just wanted to tie it in with the Dead Poets Society scene, heh.

Great game plan, holding their top scorer to nil before the last basket.

What a coach, what a team that executed their defense so well.

If Kareem Maddox doesn't get to Portsmouth, and then to NBA summer league, I'll be disappointed. He deserves that, at minimum. A great combination of both defensive and offensive skills. Smart, skilled, disciplined and athletic.

I'm glad Harvard doesn't have to face Maddox and Mavraides next year...although I'm sure you've got some other good ones coming up.

Another great tournament showing from the Ivy League. I'm just hoping the Quakers will make us just as proud next year

Amen to that. I will miss the seniors, and wish them the best for the rest of their lives. Princeton has been fortunate to have them as part of the student body for the last four years. Hope to see them and give them a locomotive at reunions.

I agree 100%, except about Hahvahd being the "clear" favorite

This was a special group. It was great to root for guys who worked so hard and played together so well. The seniors' trip from outhouse to penthouse in four years is inspiring.

Princeton played a great all-around game against Kentucky. The Tigers almost pulled off a sensational upset victory. Hummer was outstanding. He could play anywhere.

Yeah, Hummer's play on both ends of the floor really impressed me (though it didn't surprise me). Gives me hope for the near future despite Kareem's painful departure. That athletic spin move he made against Lamb (I think?) was something I hadn't seen before, and it created a wide-open shot for Connolly that didn't go down unfortunately.

It'll be fun to see Hummer's block in One Shining Moment.

Awesome effort by Princeton. I was pulling for the upset. Great team effort all around against an under seeded opponent. Did the league proud. Shame Knight hit that last shot.

Too bad the really thunderous one didn't even count b/c of the ticky-tack foul on Davis.

Some of you probably saw this already, but here's a really nice article in the Daily Princetonian titled Requiem for a Team

http://www.dailyprincetonian.com/2011/03/18/27921/

A fitting send off for quite a team.
