BU had already shown interest in Chealey and Bates. I wonder if they have interest in all four of these guys or just the two who were identified earlier.
Chealey looks like a good PG (maybe CG). Just picked up an offer from UTEP and is definitely being recruited by the Bison and some bigger schools. He is probably the player who Tennessee is looking at. (Chealey picks up first offer.) Bates also appears to be a PG.
Banks is a 6-9 center. Appears to be a solid rebounder and good shot blocker but not much of a scorer. Rivas is a 6'7.5" forward who apparently did not start for his H.S. team and did not have much in the way of stats.
2012-13 Attendance: 19 games and 8,354 miles driven.

Bucknell has offered a scholarship to Luke Worthington, a 6'8 245 PF from Mequon Wisconsin. Luke averaged 12 PPG and 11 RPG for Homestead High School this year and competes with the Wisconsin Playground Elite AAU program. Luke had very strong performances in the first session of the EYBL circuit and is currently the leagues leading rebounder. Since the weekend he has received 7 new offers from Bucknell Milwaukee, Toledo, UNC Charlotte, Rice, Penn, and Bowling Green State. Luke previously had offers from North Dakota, Florida Gulf Coast, and South Dakota State.

Stepka is a 6-5 wing with reported interest (no offers) from BU, VCU, JMU, George Mason, Navy, and William & Mary. Supposed to be a good long-range shooter. Averaged 13 ppg against a good schedule.

I think that 137 has him listed as 6'-9". He must still be growing, because Scout.com has him as 6'-7". There is a photo.

Yes, Scout has him at 6-7 but that hasn't been updated in a long time. Rivals and some articles call him 6-9. Of course many of these heights are exaggerated and/or measured with shoes on. That's true with many PL heights as well.

More on Knar, who received an offer from BU last August:
"If the Mustangs make the trip, Robert Knar will be the conductor. He is averaging 21 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7 assists per game. He is the fourth leading scorer in school history and is leading Lake County in assists for the third year in a row. He has scored as many as 41 points in a game. . . .
"Robert Knar has received interest from Stanford and Virginia but he admits he probably prefers the "homey atmosphere" of smaller schools such as Northern Iowa and Bucknell. They have offered. So have Central Michigan, Santa Clara, Illinois State and Toledo.
"I visited Stanford and it didn't scare me," he said. "But Northern Iowa or Bucknell are more my style. They are a good fit. They are on my mind the most. They give me a lot of attention. Bucknell said I am one of their top priorities.
"Mid-major and high-major doesn't matter anymore. You get great competition everywhere. The Missouri Valley is a great conference. Northern Iowa is a small school but they have proven that they can play with anyone in basketball." "

Per multiple reports, Knar has committed to UNI.

Bison Recruits for 2013 05-01-12 11:16 AM - Post#128820
In response to JDBison2010
A couple notes from the Hoop Group Philly Jamfest:
1. Kamill Richards, a 6-6 SF listed above, has a list of eight schools that does not include Bucknell (or any academic schools).
2. Re Julian Moore, the center from Germantown Academy who has a BU offer: "At 6-10, Moore is a work in progress and seeking a school with high-end academics such as Patriot or Ivy League. Right now Bucknell, Navy and Penn are in pursuit but with a few big weekends and he’ll be ticketed for bigger things."
3. A local 2014 name: "Several coaches were crowing about J.C. Snow, a rising junior 6-foot-2 guard from Abington Heights (Pa.), who plays with JBHoops of Scranton, Pa. . . . As a sophomore sharpshooter he averaged 17.1 points, had 130 rebounds, 83 assists and 70 steals. . . . Schools such as Bucknell, Siena, Cornell, Hofstra and Penn State are interested but more will hop aboard after this weekend."

A few items from therecruitscoop's twitter feed:
1. BU is a school of interest for 6-4 wing Chris Braley from Maine/Phillips Exeter. Also interest from much of the PL, IL and AE, plus Fairfield.
2. Peter Miller, perhaps the most realistic center prospect for BU, picked up an offer from St. Bona.
3. Bryan Rivers, NJ PG who made an unofficial visit earlier in the season, got an offer from Dartmouth - his first one.
4. Alex Wintering, NC PG, got an offer from Mercer - perhaps his first.
5. Sam Singer, CG from Florida, got two more offers (Auburn and Richmond), to go along with over a dozen others. You won't be seeing him in Lewisburg in 16 months.
