Loyola was picked 3rd behind Iona and Fairfield. Etherly and Walker were named to the preseason 2nd team. This could be a very good year for the Hounds and Patsos hit the nail on the head during his interview at media day. To paraphrase he said now is the time for consistency. He said the program is now stable but the team has to be able to get up for a game against a bottom team as much as they do against Iona or Fairfield.

Surprised that Etherly was named to the 2nd team. Is he even going to be able to get a lot of minutes with Latham coming in and Winbush back? I figure the minutes will be split up in the frontcourt.

etherly is best of those three, latham out of shape and winbush coming back from two years of injury, winbush and latham good backups behind etherly and walker

I did some research on where they have been picked to finish since '02. Interesting. It would be nice to see them stay in the top half for at least a few seasons. Seems like they have a good base of players now, to accomplish that.
