Lists Harvard as his favorite over a host of BCS schools. One of many BCS-level talents the Crimson has worked hard on from the current HS junior class.

Save Wisconsin, none of those other schools are anything to write home about.

Maybe those other schools are down, but of those 4 BCSers, only Penn State lacks history. Tennessee and Wake Forest have had very good teams in the past.

So's Mississippi State. So's Utah.

If you're going to have a legit top-50 team then the recruiting mindset shouldn't be "we beat out BCS teams for this guy" but rather, "we beat out someone good for this guy."

Yeah not sure why you would imply that Harvard doing a good job recruiting a highly regarded 6'8" PF is somehow a negative? He's getting recruiting by some big schools even if a few might be down and hats off to Harvard being atop his list.

Now if you asked a different question like, won't it be difficult for him to be an "impact freshman" when Smith, Moundou-Missi, and Travis will be juniors and Okolie, Hall, and Cummins will be sophomores (not to mention who else might come in as a frosh)? Then that is a little more interesting for me...

When did I say it was a negative? All I said was that "BCS-level" really doesn't mean much as a measure of recruiting success.

As for impact, I gave up doing anything more than hoping a long time ago.
