I believe Dartmouth frosh have combined for a total of 5 Rookies of the Week... Gabas Maldunas has 3, JVonte Brooks 1, John Golden 1. How good are these freshman compared to the frosh throughout the league?
Maldunas for Rookie of the Year?

Per the numbers Maldunas has a strong argument for Rookie of the Year and Brooks and Golden look like solid players per the numbers. I haven't seen much of them live so will be watching when they play Penn, but I have seen a few games of Miller from Cornell and if I was voting he'd be my choice so far. That said there is a lot of Ivy League games left so chances for other guys to step up.
In terms of how freshman compare, that is quite difficult as Dartmouth has no depth so the frosh are getting a ton of minutes. On other teams that isn't the case. Probably won't know until later.

That's a good point... These guys probably wouldn't get as much burn at the other Ivies...

Maybe Jvonte Brooks is edging out his aforementioned teammate for this honor, just earned ROW for 3rd time:

7 ROW honors to Dartmouth - Jvonte Brooks 3, Gabas Maldunas 3, John Golden 1
In any case, good to see the Big Green bringing in some more talent.

Some of this is just a matter of opportunity more than "talent." I don't think any of those guys would play meaningful minutes this season on too many other teams in the League. They're OK - I liked J'vonte Brooks best of the trio - and Cormier has them playing HARD, but I don't think I would take any of them over Steve Mondou-Missi, Corbin Miller, Henry Brooks or Brandon Sherrod.

Go ahead, Howard, rain on their parade. It's hard enough to get Dartmouth or Brown fans on these boards.

Old Bear, I root for the underdogs. Love the dynamics of the league. Love how well the league is doing. Love to see Harv on the national scene and Prin and Penn a bit too. Love to see the talent coming into Brown and Dart, and look at Yale and Columbia and Cornell--all competing at a high level. It's great for all 8 to see

Possibly, but it could also "split the vote" if coaches are unsure which Dartmouth freshman they like the best.
