Iona blew a 20-2 lead against Siena to lose 65-62. Now Iona Loyola and Manhattan are tied for 1st at 7-2. We control our own destiny now a sweep in Buffalo is that much more critical. A regular season title would be nice as it guarantees an NIT spot but that is getting way ahead of myself.

we do not do well with success.. uh oh. I wouldn't want to be in 1st place until the last game of the season with the way Loyola handles itself when in a good position.
Remember my freshman year.. 07-08... we had a shot to clinch first with games in hand with a victory at Marist against a pretty unimpressive Marist and we got blown out and proceeded to finish in like 3rd or 4th I think that year.
Also same year, we're up 17 on Siena and blow that lead in the MAAC Semis
I'd like to think this is a different Loyola but we'll see.

Winning the regular season MAAC title would be the single greatest accomplishment in the history of Loyola Men's Basketball.
