Another game with excellent flow/movement.
We need to continue same trend against Lehigh to insure we fully maximize/exploit our inside & outside strengths.
This is the formula for winning basketball games.

Lack of flow killed us last night. Certainly some of the reason was Lehigh's d & aggressiveness. We had too many possessions where we didn't go through the full cycle, some with some real questionable drives and some looking to force it too much into Mike. Ball movement makes the game much easier for Mike. It allows multiple players to get into the flow & puts pressure on the defense. When the defense only has to focus on Mike, they can easily sluff off on him.
Willman's post game is much improved & effective but got few touches last night.
Ball movement is the only way this team will be successful.

Really gotta point the finger at the coach.
At halftime Coach Paulsen indicated a key for them in the 2nd half was to run more offense through Joe Willman. He only got one or two post touches in the 2nd half. Even when he had guards switch onto him there was no attempt to get him the ball on the block. So, on one, hand he acknowledged the need to do so, but he never mandated it be executed. Totally agree a few post ups for Joe would have opened the game up for both the perimeter players as well as made Muscala's task easier.
So, a big reason for the loss was coach's ineffectiveness regarding not getting willman involved as well as allowing Bucknell to play at Lehigh's speed. One mantra of coach & players in interviews this year was the emphasis that we needed to force opponents to play Bucknell's game, not have us play into their strengths. This game showed exactly the opposite. We didn't exploit an obvious advantage of going to a second post player & we played our offense at warp speed.
