You bring up an interesting point. Makes me wonder why they decided to seat Butler at the Palestra, though. A bit counter-intuitive.

HDNET didn't control that. The Penn boosters checkbooks did.

I had not realized Butler was playing Penn, now I understand the discussion a little better.

You think Penn over-bid to keep the game at home?

Chip Bayers and Pubeband: seriously guys, what is CBI? Nobody will tell me. Is it some Ivy League postseason deal?

Well, since nobody will tell me, I'll go ahead and tell you that I WILL be watching your CBI game on tv this weekend, and be pulling for you Quakers all the way! Where do you play?
Go Quakers! Beat Pitt!
Twenty buck says you guys beat the Big East out of Pitt, then win it all! (Pitt is horrible this year. You guys will KILL them!)
Cheers!

Don't know if you're trolling or simply don't know, but because you keep asking, I'll answer:
There are four post-season Division I tournaments for which a team can qualify: The NCAA, NIT, CBI and CIT.

I guess he is hoping Pitt beats Princeton, and then faces Penn?

Poor Robby (aka Vanderbilt fan) is seriously confused. First, he addresses Penn on the Princeton board. Second, he isn't completely clear on who is playing whom, or when.
Third, he's not exactly - shall we say -enterprising.

Perhaps with not having to allocate any more time to watching Vandy play, he can take a moment to peek outside the SEC.

He's on some other board blaming the refs for Vanderbilt's loss to Wisconsin. Hey, at least they can be smug about beating Harvard and playing up to their seed 1/4 of the time.
