Two other interesting names on the Willman/Hoffman team:
- Wally Judge, who was a five star big man in H.S. Transferred to Rutgers from Kansas State.
- Rob Delaney, who just graduated from Lafayette. Delaney went for 25 points vs HC in his next-to-last game of his career before having his career end in Sojka the next game.
2012-13 Attendance: 19 games and 8,354 miles driven.

Have seen a few jsbl games. A couple of observations on the bucknell boys.
Hoffman is a real workhorse, not a pretty player but effective. I think he'll be really good for the bison but i'm not sure if he's game ready right now. His instincts & strength are real good for a frosh but he will need to adjust to the speed of the college game. Surprisingly his hands are in need of improvement both when catching, even when not in traffic, and in snatching bounds.
His shot is ok but inconsistent and he needs to be set. He's not as tall as i thought. No taller than jw.
Willman is having a good summer. He had a particularly good game last night 32 pts, on about 15 shots, 13 boards and 5 steals. He had many more touches in good locations as rutgers players judge and mack were not there. Joe may be the most efficient and nondramatic player around. He looks good continuing to improve on his post game & his stroke is sweet. He hit a key 3 down the stretch which i wish he would shoot for us. Guarantee he would never take too many & could stretch the d. He never stops moving on defense.
I hope jw has his confidence at a real high level this year as he will be a big key to our success.
I think hoffman is coming into a perfect spot and hopefully uses jw as his mentor. His soph year he will have big shoes to fill & will be a big key for the post '13 success.

NED STEVENS 141, NEW JERSEY TARHEELS 95: Rutgers University point guard Myles Mack scored 30 points and Ryan Woods added 23, leading Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning past New Jersey.
Dom Hoffman added 18. Former Monmouth Regional star Joe Willman, now playing for Bucknell University, contributed 14, six in the third quarter.

Jsbl ended up this week. Joe & Dom's team lost what should have been a very winnable game. They only had 5 guys; 3 of the Rutgers kids, inc Wally Judge, had summer class & couldn't attend. The other team took advantage pushing the pace while liberally subbing.
The biggest problem was shooting. The team must have shot 35% for the game. They were cold in the beginning then possibly got worn down due the up & down pace. Our guys were significant contributors to the fg% debacle missing many bunnies & open j's. From seeing Dom a few times he definitely needs work on his shooting. Over the years I have never seen JW shoot this poorly. He looked like he may have done too much strength work during the day. The summer ball chaos game is not either of their styles.Aside from this, as noted previously, both will be real strong/relative contributors. Joe's court confidence is up and hopefully it transcends to the Bucknell season. His back to the basket game continues to improve. He blocked many shots & had some pretty dunks this summer. I strongly feel he will be a, if not the, key element if the Bison will reach their potential. Dom will be able to learn for one year then must take a big step.
From the "Jersey Shore" things look good for Bucknell!
