Jason Battle, a 6-4 incoming Cornell freshman will appear in the North Carolina East vs. West All Star game festivities this weekend. The game will feature at least seven Division I players, two of which are ACC commitments. Battle was the Wilmington Area Player of the Year, selected over New Orleans recruit, 6-10 Sami Badawi.
Good news for Cornell fans concerning Conor Mullen. The incoming wing has grown an inch since last summer and has gained more than 20 pounds of muscle. He will join Cornell as a 6-6 220 pound wing. He is said to be a solid outside shooter with a growing mid range game. He is also said to be one of the hardest working defensive players out there and is willing to sacrifice his body to get the loose balls. Mullen picked Cornell last October over several Division I offers, including a walk-on offer at Marquette. Sounds like a nice heir to the Lenny Collins role next year.
