On the Cornell recruiting front, Marquis Hall should be off of Cornell's board. He committed to Lehigh a few weeks ago.
For those who did not recently view Cornell's recruiting board, Ben Johnson, a 6-6 power forward from St. Mark’s in Dallas, Texas gave a verbal commitment to Colgate. Also, Brad Sheehan, a 6-10 post player out of Eric Taylor’s alma mater, Latham HS in Shaker Heights (Albany) NY, officially committed to Georgia Tech.
Finally, a non-Cornell recruiting matter, Texas Hoops reports that Yale is in the top two for Cole Dabney, a monsterous 6-10 and 260 pound center from Austin, Texas. He already has offers from Northwestern, Colgate, Army, Albany, Binghampton, and UT-Arlington, but he's got programs such as Michigan involved, as well as UNC-Wilmington, Yale, Tulsa, SMU, and North Texas among many others. Dabney said Yale and North Texas are in his top two choices. Although he is not in the Texas Hoops Top 100, this is one big kid. He has a 3.4 GPA and old 1240 SAT score. Where in the hell are the other Ivies?

BRF,
The correct name of Brad Sheehan's school, and my former school, and Eric Taylor's former school, and Sam Perkins' former school, and the former school of Teresa Fallon, currently of the Penn women's team, is Shaker High School of Latham, New York.
Cordially, Stu
