Recent article on Rivals seems to indicate that Cornell is no longer involved with the 6-8 180 lb forward. Walker has an offer from Air Force and is expected to visit Colorado Springs next week. He will then visit Birmingham Southern, another school in which I believe an offer is likely. Beyond those two schools, Walker is also speaking with Yale and Lehigh. His teammate, Ben Johnson signed with Colgate. Johnson was also recruited by Cornell.
Air Force recently nabbed two other former Cornell prospects, Bobby Fenske and Spencer Oestrich. Meanwhile, Lehigh also nabbed former Cornell prospect Marquis Hall this month.
In recent months, there has not been much positive public recruiting information for Cornell basketball. Cornell loses three seniors and returns 12 players for 2006-2007.
