Cornell should really pursue OJ Avworo, a 6 foot point guard from Alief Elsik HS in Texas. Although, point guard is not a priority area for the Big Red, it can never hurt to add talent.

Texas Hoops ranks him the #24 player in the State of Texas. And... Texas Hoops is one of the most reliable services out there. (FYI, Texas Hoops ranks Justin Reilly, a Penn commitment as #31)

Texas Hoops reports that Columbia stopped pursuing him because of their recent commitment from Patrick Foley. Currently, Avworo is considering offers from Stephen F. Austin, Texas State, Howard, and Centenary.

"Texas Hoops Analysis: O.J. is a very quick and fast floor leader who does all the right things to help his team win. He can really break down the defense, is constantly in the paint with the ball and makes good decisions. He pushes the ball in the open court, sees the floor well, gets the ball to his scorers and plays with energy. He is a slippery player who is hard to contain, has a nice touch on floaters in the paint and will knock down the open 3 point shot. He has very quick hands on defense and doesn't do anything flashy but plays to win."
