He *did* do a great job as color commentator on the webstream broadcast tonight, though. Very professional and not too biased.

I believe he is. We were told he reinjured his knee in a fluke accident during a scrimmage.

too bad. he looked pretty mobile in the very limited action i saw him in. too bad he never had much of a college career. i feel bad for him.

Vandenberg is definitely done. On the bright side, at least Cornell has 2 centers next year (Naeve and Oliverson), and will still have some height to replace ET. Vandenberg was very good in the few games he played his freshman year at least, even setting a record for blocks in one game.
