Would be a good fit. AAU teammate of Silpe and Brown if I'm not mistaken.

I thought Rothschild's video looked pretty good. Not inspiring but he seemed to have fundamentals.

With a name like Rothschild I suspect financial aid is not an issue.

Once again my computer will not allow me to cut and paste (thank's again Santa) but Jake Silpe has been outstanding lately. There's a nice game piece on yesterday's game with rival Bishop Eustace in today's Inquirer should someone care to fetch it.

Here's the Inky:

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/high_sc hool/20...

and COBL:

"Silpe, a three-year starter at point guard and one of the top players in South Jersey, was easily the best player in the game, scoring 20 points to go along with four assists, four steals and four rebounds."

Dunno if Penn will ever accept a transfer again, but there's at least one player who was definitely a Penn target looking to transfer (and I would speculate is a fit in Donahue's offense):

Jeff Rabjohns
Indiana freshman forward Max Hoetzel will transfer from Indiana.

Other guys who were previously mentioned with or mentioned Penn: Kahlil Dukes (USC), Tanner Lancona (SLU), Brendyn Taylor (USC)

Does this mean the new list is out? I assume we don't have anyone on it?

Verbal Commits continues to do an outstanding job of immediately aggregating news, so that's where I found these four. Goodman's list will be out later:

I'm really, really, hoping this was a typo and you meant Jahlil from Duke.

5'11" SG. Can't have too many of those.

The other two are well beyond the 2.5 hour Radius of Comfort and will not be considered.

Is he Jewish? Can't have too many undersized Jewish hoopsters.

Actually, for a PG, Silpe is not terribly undersized at all.

"Penn has offered 2016 SG Ryan Daly of Archbishop Carroll."

10Q, Are you saying this is an undersized Jewish guard? He sounds like Rhode Island's 2 time HS Gatorade Player of the Year, Corey Dockerty, who is coming to Brown in the fall
