Why do I #%$@ bother? There was absolutely no #%$@ offensive cohesion the last few minutes when it was CRITICAL. Seriously 1 bucket more when it MATTERED and we win. So frustrating when there were positives to look at in this game but they ALWAYS get urinated away.

This is the 2nd straight year I can't imagine them bringing the head coach back.
What's left to say?

The sad part is that we were up 15 points there in the second half and my first thought was: "we're probably going to blow this." That's where my fandom is at this point. I keep watching knowing that it is just going to frustrate the hell out of me.

Once again, JA calls a time out late after we have some momentum and a 71-70 lead. Well, we don't score the rest of the game aside from the very late 3.
Hicks was horrendous down the stretch. Absolutely horrendous.

Tough loss for Penn. You kicked our butts in the first half and it looks like you have a lot of young talent. The officiating was...terrible. But, if either team got more bad calls, I would say it was Princeton. No matter. Each team threw away a lot of opportunities in the 2nd half. So one of us was destined to be very frustrated at the outcome. I expect an equally ugly game in Philly.

I am predictably unhappy. Tony just tries to do too much at certain times and it almost never turns out good.

Ditto. Plus, the Charge call on the Howard 3 pt.play, with an already big lead, really hurt. Even the Pr.color guy was relieved after the replay was shown.

Payback for the awful call on Bell in the first half? Really, we could go on for hours about all the questionable calls...against both teams.

Folks, I hate the idea of those arrogant princeton alum and students walking out of jadwin with the smirks of victory, but ideally this helps accelerate you know what.

The officiating was terrible, but it seemed like Allen's strategy was to play super-physical and disrupt Princeton's rhythm, which mostly worked. They were daring the refs to make all the calls that were there and for stretches it worked--the officials would only call one out of two or three fouls that were committed. Oddly, though, except for DNH's one stroll along the boardwalk, the refs were vigilant against traveling on both teams.

Believe me, this was no game to be cocky about.
But, perhaps you could tell us why the personal animus.

When we were up 15 I actually thought it would be a lead big enough for us to hold. Even when the margin was down to 11 I had some confidence. Then came an eight minute stretch that featured six turnovers, six missed shots, zero field goals, and zero poise.

Really, Tiger69, really. You recognize horrible officiating when you see it; but you think Princeton got the worse of it when it shot 43 free throws to Penn's 14???

One positive note--our Ken Pom rating went up and Princeton's went down.
Woo hoo!!
