Schwieger has committed to Princeton. this gives them 16 players for their 2017-18 roster including 8 pure guards and 3 sf/ swingmen. of course this wont stop them from signing another if they can this year.

Yes, it definitely won't stop them. Their roster this year has at least 19 players on it, including six seniors. Ivy rules generally allow six recruited players per season - and I'd expect Princeton to add five or six for 2017-18. At the moment, they have three new recruits in that class.

Offer to Ahsan Asadullah 6-8 PF/C from North Clayton GA, a AAA school south of Atlanta. Has reported offers from James Madison, Georgia State, and Alcorn State. One or more Bison coaches watched him work out this morning and then made an offer.

per prior info, an offer was made back in May; not that all info is 100% accurate. is there a clear statement that an offer was extended today? i see the coaches tweet about coaches coming to observe this morning.

My mistake. I saw the tweet about the BU visit this morning and then a link to a tweet about a new Bucknell offer. But I see that the link is to an old tweet. Offer, as you say, was in late May.

New offer:
Jay Estimé 6-5 SG (GA) - Duluth H.S. Duluth is a 6A (largest) school in the Atlanta area. In maxpreps computer rankings, they were a little better than Toomer's Grady team. Atlantabison, any reports?
Coach of his AAU team reports he has offers from FGCU and NJIT. He made recent unofficial visits to Penn and William and Mary.
Coaches either saw or will see Estimé this week at Berkmar HS. I also see offers from Stetson, North Florida, and CCSU

Yes, thankfully he didn't commit to Delaware on or after his visit. The PG from Dematha who visited the same weekend just committed to Delaware the other day. Hopefully academics are important to Meeks.

Definitely seems like it's getting last for a commitment - although it probably seems later than it is because Paulsen's last four classes wrapped up by early September. However there have been a number of October (and November) commitments in the past. Looking back, I think these are the players who committed after Labor Day in past years:
Scholarships:
DJ MacLeay 9/3
Steven Kaspar 9/7
Nana Foulland 9/7
Todd O'Brien 9/12
Bruce Moore 9/16
Ben Brackney 9/23
John Griffin 9/26
Bryson Johnson 10/1
Joe Willman 10/2
GW Boon 10/5
Cory Starkey 10/6
Avid Toomer 10/8
Bryan Cohen 10/11
Zach Evans 10/12
Pat Behan 10/17
Probese Leo 10/20
Darren Mastropaolo 10/23
Jason Vegotsky 10/27 (Per Scout; not sure if this is right)
Stephen Tyree 11/1 (?)
Cam Ayers 11/17
Matt O'Reilly 5/5
Need-based:
Abe Badmus Winter (?)
Rob Thomas Winter
Andrew Morrison Late Winter
Never could find anything as to when McNaughton committed. Also not sure about Linthicum.
One thing I noticed is that 6+ years ago, it seemed routine, at least to me, for BU to still be looking for commitments in October. For example, in my mind I don't think of GW Boon, Joe Willman, or Bryson Johnson as having been late commitments - but they actually didn't come on board until early October. Ditto for Cohen and Behan, who were later in October.

With the commitment of forward John Meeks (see other thread), I think the last two spots need to go to a center and a PG/CG.

Sotos took his official to Bucknell and Dartmouth recently. Princeton is next but as stated earlier, this will be his second trip there which makes me nervous
Article also mentions Lucas Williamson who been on recent officials to NIU and Hofstra. Says that he is still hearing from Wisconsin-Green Bay, Toledo, Bucknell and Incarnate Word

Offer to Ahsan Asadullah, 6-8 250 lb PF/C (GA) from the Atlanta area - North Clayton H.S. At least one source lists him at 6-9. Offers from Georgia State and Alcorn State.
Asadullah committed to Lipscomb. Sounds like a significant factor was Lipscomb offering a major in sports marketing. Had offers from Georgia State, Arkansas-Little Rock, James Madison, Bucknell, Brown and Alcorn State.

Unconfirmed report: Asadullah strongly preferred Lipscomb's "Bisons" pluralization.

A bit of old news RJ Cole to Howard. The offer list continues to get thin... I wonder if Davis would consider holding a scholarship if they can not get the right piece for the team? I did see that Chris Vogt is still uncommitted.
