A good get for Coach Cormier and his staff. Ian Carter, a 6ft6in Class of '21 SF out of Gardena, CA

The improved performance of the Big Green over the past few years is beginning to pay dividends on the recruiting trail.
Several other Ivies were in the mix, but his made an early commitment to Dartmouth.
This is an important recruiting year for Cormier as he graduates six seniors this year, including Boehm, Gill, Carpenter. and Crescenzi, all of who saw meaningful time last year.
Great addition to the strong freshman class the Big Green have entering this Fall.

Harvard's 2016 class really raises the stakes regarding incoming players. Great start for Cormier and company - hopefully many more to come as, you mentioned, The Big Green loses a handful of contributing players. On another note, this season's Ivy race should be wide open and really fun to watch. If someone is going to dethrone Harvard this will be the year - and I think it is going to happen. Virtually everyone is predicting Harvard Yale Princeton and Columbia to fight for the title. Let's hope Dartmouth can continue to improve and earn the respect they are beginning to deserve.

Dartmouth got itself a steal! Ian Carter can play. Stretch 4 with good stroke and activity levels at the rim. Great get for the Ivy program

A 6-7, 205-pound forward from Los Angeles, Ian Carter finished his prep career by playing his senior year at La Mirada High. He captained the team to a 22-7 record and a Suburban League title while averaging 13.5 points and 8.3 rebounds to earn all-league and All-Division 2A honors as well as being a McDonald’s All-America Nominee. Carter spent the first three years of high school at Junipero Serra, garnering first-team all-conference honors while helping the Padres go 70-26 in that time to go with a pair of Del Rey League titles and a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section championship.

Looking at the team photo it looks like #3 Carter must have grown a tad. He's between Boudreaux and Sakeliunas in order of ascending height. Boudreaux and Sakeliunas both llisted at 6'8". The Big Green has some height and length, look at that back row!
