Yeah, missing out on Metu, AJ Turner, Matt Milon, Falzon... it was a rough year with the 2015 class. Almost the exact opposite of the 2016 class, where Harvard won all of the necessary big boy battles.
The assistant coaching flux really hurt Harvard. You can survive losing one of the two recruiting assistants, but you can't lose two in short order and expect not to see it hurt you in future classes. Amaker's great at finding the next talented recruiting assistant to fill his bench, but the start-up time manifests itself in some classes that aren't as strong as others.

Amazing stats for the first two games, and then he appears to have had a mediocre against Columbia. Still, he could/would have been an amazing addition to the Crimson.

Yep. I was a little surprised at Adam Cohen's "one and done" year with Harvard. My guess is that there may not have been a good "fit" and that he might not have had the focus TA wanted.

Adam is a good guy and a hard worker. You just can't resist the call from a perennial multi-bid league. No different decision than Yanni and Will made before him, and no different decision than Webbie made this past offseason.
If anything, it's a testament to him that he got the call so fast. Amaker has an eye for rising talent.

Harvard OOC opponents making noise as Providence upsets Arizona and Northeastern sneaks by Miami - both on the road. Harvard at Northeastern on Wednesday.

Harvard's NC schedule from here on out is brutal. Its most winnable D-I game is hosting Wofford (4pt fav, 68%). It will be the lowest rated team at Diamond Head.
The good news is that by the nature of basketball and distributions of outcomes, Harvard will likely pull off a Tier A or B win or two, but that will be joined by a lot of losses. 8-8 non-conference would be a Herculean feat & 7-9 even seems like a bit of a stretch.

It's all about league play. Interesting to see Tommy focused on his options while Yale and Columbia try to pull out wins relying heavily on starters. Hope we find the right combo's before league play - if they exist.

HC was a disappointing loss. NE is a good team and Harvard showed flashes of great potential. They are headed to Lawrence and will have a major challenge ahead of them. If they can get by KU without being mentally discouraged, they have the opportunity to turn things around. Go H!
