Didn't see this, but from the box score Yale got beat mostly by giving up 24 FTA and only getting 12. Wonder if JJ had the same reaction Bo Ryan did after last year's championship game?

Yale was in the game - and actually dominating in the paint - until Sherrod got in foul trouble with 3 in the first half. He played sparingly in the second half and fouled out early. Duke went to a an aggressive 1-3-1 when Sherrod was not in.

Yale losing Sherrod made a significant difference in the game. Duke's run coincided with him going to the bench with foul trouble. But Yale's reliance on Mason exclusively to give them backcourt production is troubling. Apparently, they have a a real quality freshman backup and another athletic guard - they need to play. Yale needs more athleticism from those positions to complement their front court.
