Strikes me as objective analysis that matches reality of win/lost percentage and highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each team --- Yale does not appear to have many weaknesses. If, a big if, Yale finishes 14-0 in league play, the four seniors at Yale will leave behind a legacy that will be remembered for many years including the likelihood of a 2 time Ivy League POY.
In all likelihood, someone will knock them off but their margin of victory is impressive. Their offensive efficiency is truly remarkable but they do have an inside (Sears/Sherrod) and outside game which makes them tough to stop. Hopefully, they will be stopped this weekend.

I agree, a very interesting and balanced assessment. As a life-long Princeton fan, this year's team also strikes me as very special. I can't remember a team that had so many interchangeable parts and was as difficult to defend. On Friday we will find out just how good these two teams are and it should be a treat to watch them battle it out.
Yale took control on their home court and I'd love to see the Tigers assert themselves early at Jadwin.
Go Tigers!

Tigers' Athletic Dept announced a "flash sale" of discounted tickets for the Yale game. Appears that a very good crowd will be on hand. A lot of alumni events also scheduled which should help attendance too. Biggest game at Jadwin in many, many years.

In another battle, I'm taking the Pope over Penn's Trump and giving the points.

It hurts to read him called Penn's Trump. On the other hand I eagerly point out it's Princeton's Cruz.

Penn doesn't want him. We gladly cede that title to Wharton, which after all loves to overshadow anything Penn-related.
Someone pointed out the irony to me that while Sanders does not appear to have any Jewish grandchildren, Trump most certainly does.

I shall NEVER again utter the words Trump and Penn in the same breath if you will do likewise with Cruz and Princeton. Even the thought of the association makes me nauseous.

I am not a fan of the current political landscape but I did get a kick out of it when I typed in the following to my web browser:

Princeton really needed a "flash sale" to help drum up interest for the biggest game in years?

We really need to get a good team---I was smiling broadly at the rat-tat-tat Princeton insults. But they've got a shot and we don't. That has to change.

Hey we got Princeton's Kagan and Sotomayor. And Michelle Obama has got a Princeton basketball connection.
