Vegas spread is bigger than I thought --- Princeton giving up 8 pts and Yale giving up 13 points at home with Harvard.

PU up 11-7, but living on 3-4 from long distance while giving up dribble penetration and turning the ball over at an alarming rate. Looks like Rosenberg is getting lots of benefit of doubt from the officials early on--blatant push-off not called and he's getting calls on little bumps.

Bell with two fouls, Cook fouls Mullins on a trey. Ugh. I count at least five turnovers for PU. They're lucky to be tied at 13--fortunately Weisz is off to a great offensive start.

Cook makes a big play in a big game with a steal and then a drive for an and-one. Maybe guys will loosen up now and just play their game.

Cohen being unusually aggressive on offense for CU. Now the lions lead, but Cook with another and-one on a dunk. Go, go, go.

Double backdoor pays off, Cannady through first then Caruso for the bucket. Haven't seen that in a while. But the D is just giving up too many layups.

Cook on fire but just picked up his second foul. Not good.

Mini-run to a five-point lead forces a Lion TO at 7:50. Nice putback by Miller off the missed layup by Caruso.

If I were either coach I'd be tempted to try some zone.

Cook's second foul reallocated to Miller. Good news.

Absurd bailout foul called on Weisz as Rosenberg whacks him.

Tigers with too many TOs and too many ORs given up. CU will end up with many more scoring opportunities if this keeps up.

32-32 with about four minutes in the half. PU needs to do a better job with loose balls and rebounds.

I know the percentages say run them off the three-point line, but the resulting layup drill for Columbia is tough to watch. Guys need to cowboy up on on-ball D, because the help D is not showing up consistently.

Brennan rejects Cohen with emphasis. Still not able to grab deflections and loose balls.

Finally get an offensive foul call on Rosenberg, drawn by Young of all people. A couple of good plays but another OR to CU. Weisz finishes off the half with a deep three to get a nine-point lead at the half! Crazy.

Basic story of the first half: CU had four more FGA and eight more FTA but still trails by 9 because PU shot 6-10 from three and 10-14 from two. In comparison to the Tigers' rim-melting, the Lions shot 1-4 from three and 10-24 from two, staying as close as they are by knocking in six more FTs.

PU cannot continue to allow CU to OR over 50% of its shots. They must grab the loose balls.

How can you let Cohen drive past you three times? Just back off him.

Bell called for a BS foul, sits. The Tiger trey barrage is continuing, though with Cook and Caruso hitting to push the lead to 11 despite porous D.

Stephens joins the fun with a trey; lead amazingly at 14 and Kyle Smith has to call timeout.

Tigers are right now living by the three-point shot. Hope they don't die by it.

I do not know what the officials are watching. Tiger is fouled going in for a layup, no call, then Cohen gets the call on what should have been a jump ball of the DR.

Weisz drives, scores, and amazingly gets a call. CU's first foul after over five minutes.
