Yale did this year (Bruner), and I'd wager that we'll see more going forward. If we could get to the point where we eliminate the 10% on 180K or less and make that a full grant, I really think the floodgates will open. We're still losing a fair number of quality kids to a, say, $15K bill for a family making $150K versus an athletic scholarship to Northwestern/Vandy/Stanfo rd/Notre Dame/Rice/etc.
That's the biggest thing constricting the pool at this point, not really the AI.

Superficially, Stanford would seem like the toughest to beat head-to-head out of that group, given its selectivity, Silicon Valley cachet, weather, conference, overall athletic success, and OK program history. But all cases are individual.
