I feel like we need a thread for this to avoid hubris. Everyone is just assuming that the Tigers will once again take care of business, and that is the way to bet. But...this is now as big a game as any the Tigers have played all year and the Big Red could make their season by pulling the upset. Besides, it's a Saturday night and we don't know what zebra subspecies will show up.

You're a Nervous Nellie, aren't you? Princeton's 5 losses have been versus Top 100 teams. Plus, they're undefeated at home. For these reasons I am confident that the Tigers will defeat the Big Red.
Go Tigers!

How can you say that? Remember when Zack Rosen singlehandedly beat that epic Cornell team? For me personally, that 2010 Brown home game when the Tigers blew it to lose the league really sticks with me.

Yep. I'm very confident of a win, which is exactly why my superstition is kicking in. I do not want this game to be memorable, unless a favorable record is set, such as highest score by Princeton in Jadwin.

Cornell opening up in a 2-3 zone, which is smart. Two Tiger treys are halfway down before spinning out.

Big Red scoring at will but taking some not-so-great shots. PU down 5 early, no fouls called. Tigers 0-5 from three.

Caruso gets a bogus foul call, Courtney irate. Hits two FTs with lots of rim.

Yea! Cook hits the first PU trey to tie it at 11, but Smith hits his second trey in response. Tigers look sluggish. Commit a shot-clock violation against the zone. Wake up!

Defense isn't sharp so far. A few second-chance points being allowed. Many of Cornell's shots are contested mid-rangers, but they're going in or getting follow shots. Tigers looking crisper against the zone now, just need to hit open shots. 33% to 58% FG shooting is not going to get it done. Cannady has two fouls with 7:25 left.

Nice to see Bell drive right down the middle of the D and draw the shooting foul, especially since he hits both FTs.

Hatter is doing his Curley Neal impersonation tonight, dribbling on his knees twice now.

Beautiful ball movement leads to a Brennan jam from a Cook pass with a chance for a three-point play, and he hits it. Up six now and Cornell looking more ragged; Hatter hits a low-percentage drive. Another nice backdoor pass to Brennan against the zone draws another foul and two FTs go in. Looking much better now.

Hatter at his best looks like a drunken boxing master. At his worst he looks like a drunk college student stumbling out of a bar at 2:00AM.

Tigers just not finishing on drives. How many pathos have they missed tonight? Gotta focus! Hatter is a wild man but he scares me. Too close at the half.

Caruso has missed a number of layups that he usually nails. PU up six after Bell's clutch two but then Hatter with a half-court heave at the buzzer to cut the halftime lead to 37-34.
Still confident, but Cornell is playing much better than last time. To me, it feels like Princeton has been content to play at a slower pace. The Big Red think that speeding up the pace is good for them, but I think they could be induced to turn it over, take a lot of bad shots, and lose defensive discipline if Princeton could pressure them more on D and run up the floor more after misses.

Decent start to the second half. Better help D leading to some blocks. Cornell's press finally forces a turnover, but out-of-control Hatter runs over Bell to give the ball back. I like that Hatter is shooting a lot and Morgan hardly at all.
