Hatter is a parody of the over-dribbling, low-efficiency, overconfident player. Meanwhile the Tigers are moving the ball and hitting wide open treys. Lead up to 13.

Cannady putting on a bit of a show now with two radar-guided treys and a frontdoor cut to the hoop for a bucket. Also playing good on-ball D as needed.

And Cannady jumps the cross-court Cornell pass and takes it in for a layup to push the lead to 19.
Nellie is officially not nervous.

Amazing how confident Miller and Brennan look when facing the Big Red frontcourt, on both ends.

Cook turnover, Morgan unaccountably takes (and makes) a 30+ footer with lots of time on the shot clock. Maybe he was afraid that if he passed he'd never see the ball again.

And a nice, comfy, 14-point victory by the more-talented, better-coached, more-cohesive team. Nice to know that some things work the way they are supposed to given recent political events.

Even though Caruso did not have a productive night offensively, he contributed in many other ways. He is certainly not a ball hog/shooter if the shots are not available -- team player.
Weisz has been turning in remarkable performances during most of the Ivy season after a slow start in non-conference play. Although Caruso will probably be in the top five for Ivy League POY, you can make a case for Weisz as the team MVP during the Ivy season.
Coach Earl post-game said that the Cornell zone defense was a total surprise as to what the Tigers expected and it took some time to figure it out but he credited his experienced team.

BTW, with 13:12 to go Yale and Dartmouth are tied at 39. Sherrod 0-5 from the field, Sears hasn't gotten to the line yet and is 3-8 from the field, Mason 2-7. Too bad ILDN won't let me watch the video ("operation could not be completed").

Love to see our depth on display. Caruso not getting looks? Cook cold? No problem. Weisz, Bell and Cannady step up to win comfortably. Nice halftime adjustment indeed.
Dartmouth giving Yale a game! Please Big Green, make it happen.

When Weisz is rolling things are usually good. Can't remember too many games where he's played well and the team still lost. Some of that causality may run the opposite way, of course, e.g. his assist numbers rise when his teammates are able to hit their shots.

Things heating up in New Haven: Dartmouth up one with 1:38 left, Sears and Victor with four fouls apiece. Mason having a night to forget based on the box score so far.
