I'm curious, what does everybody think for the All-Ivy teams? Feels more wide-open than past years, especially getting down to the second team.

Think it's pretty wide open:

First team: Lo, Sears, Mason, Caruso, Kuakamensah

Second team: Weisz, Sherrod, Endosomwan, Boudreaux, Matt Morgan, Rosenberg. Also likely: Mullins, Cook, DNH

ROY toss up between Morgan and Boudreaux, I would give it to Boudreaux based on being more efficient offensively.

POY: Lo, possibility for Sears, but I think Lo edges him this year.

POY will be Sears. Can't imagine it going another way. ROY is much closer, but I like Morgan to win it. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cannady slip on the Honorable Mention list. I don't think Kuak will be first team, though he should be among three fighting for DPOY with Agunwa and Lo.

First Team: Sears, Mason, Lo, Caruso, Edosomwan
Second team: Sherrod, Kuakamensah, Morgan, Boudreaux, Cook, Okolie
ROY: Boudreaux
POY: Sears
DPOY: Okolie

Kuakamensah could surpass Edosomwan due to seniority and Zena's injury. Okolie is a sleeper for All Ivy List, but handled opponents best scorer all year and, in league only play, was top 5 in rebounds and shooting percentage while scoring 13.2ppg.

Sears will probably win POY in deference to Yale's great championship season, but Mr. James "can't imagine it going any other way"? Taking into consideration that one is a 4/5 and the other a 2/1, the stats on Sears and Lo are pretty similar.

Sears, Mason, Lo and Caruso seem like locks for the first team. Sherrod would get my vote for the final spot, but I doubt they put three Yalies on it.

That leaves Kuak, Zena, Rosenberg, Boudreaux, Morgan and one of a half dozen Princtonians for the second team.

POY: Sears
ROY: Boudreaux, by a hair.
DPOY: Would love to see Okolie recognized, but I think Lo will win.
COY: Jones

That's part of why i guessed Sherrod over Mason for 1st team. Sometimes the seniors get some deference, and i doubt 3 Yale guys make it. Mason has 2 more years to be a 1st teamer (and likely will be).

1st Team -- Sears, Lo, Mason, Caruso and it should be Sherrod but probably will not be him. Probably Kuak as he is a senior but could be Boudreaux or Edosomwan.

2nd Team -- Sherrod, Boudreaux, Edosomwan, probably Weisz and Morgan but I would go with Mullins over Morgan. Others Rosenberg and Okolie.

POY -- Sears followed by Lo followed by Mason. Sears should get it and probably will although Lo may receive the award if voters split some votes with Mason and possibly, Sherrod. Sears was the senior leader on a 13-1 team that won the Ivy Title for the 1st time in 50+ years.

ROY - Boudreaux, Morgan, Cannady

DPY - If Kuak gets first team, it may be Okolie. If Kuak makes 2nd team, probably, Kuak. Followed by Okolie and either Cook or Lo.

COY -- Jones, Henderson, Donahue

I would remind you that Kuakumensah led the league in rebounding and blocks, averaged (within in a rounding error)a double-double, and set the All Time record for Blocked Shots. It's hard to make first team or DOY on a team that didn't win much, but he deserves both.

If Kuakumensah receives those accolades, they'd be well deserved. However, I don't see that he led the league in rebounds per game either overall or just in conference games. Am I missing something?

Thanks! Those stats on Morgan and Boudreaux are amazing. It will be interesting to see what they can become. In terms of pure counting stats, it's hard to imagine they could get much better.

My bad, CK had 196 (9.6 per game), ZE had 202 (9.9 per game. CK was 1st in blocks, 2nd in Rbs. and 9th in scoring.

Is POY even a question? Am I missing something? One guy led his team nowhere in his teams most important season in decades and the other led his team to breaking a 50+ year drought. All else being fairly equal, which is the best case scenario for Lo from a stats standpoint, this isn't very close.

Fair picks, I would probably drop DNH to honorable mention since there are 7 second teamers
