NCAA payouts may reward academic skills, not just athletic ones
Thoughts?

I don't hate it, GBGB
While I am most interested in our program continuing to grow in terms of health and Ws (and taking advantage of having Boudreaux on the squad these next 3 years), if it supports and encourages scholarship alongside the athletics then I see no downside
Interesting, thanks for sharing

Good in theory... Since college should be academics first.
But, with that much money in play, cheating will take place.
And with the UNC scandal showing that the NCAA has little power when it comes to institutional academics and discipline, who will be in charge of determining academic progress.
I can easily see this leading to more deception.

With the recently raised NCAA academic standards that went into effect for 2016 recruiting class, this would only serve to buttress that effort.
